5 Reasons This Isn't Just a Bracelet

Ayatul Kursi — the Throne Verse, Surah Al-Baqarah 2:255 — is the verse most Muslims reach for when they are frightened, when a child is ill, when they cannot sleep. It is about God's sovereignty and His protection over everything He made.

Most of us know it by heart. That is not the problem. The problem is remembering it at four in the afternoon on a bad Tuesday, when you are tired and short with the people you love and the last thing on your mind is a verse.
